Welcome

I am looking forward to representing friends, neighbors, and all residents from the north east of Clatsop County on the county commission. It is my intention to be a positive force on the Clatsop County Commission with respect to the rights of our citizens and the rule of law. With objectivity and civility I believe I can work effectively with others to achieve a greater end. I am from this community, I am for this community, and I hope to find satisfaction in working with this community as your county commissioner.

I have seen the world and have chosen, like most people who live here, to spend my time here. I value this place and believe its worth investing time and effort in. If you will support me in this endeavor, I will work hard for you. Thank you for your consideration.

Native Son

I am the owner-operator of Brownsmead Island Farm, a 200 acre dairy farm in Brownsmead.

Brownsmead Grange
Brownsmead Diking Improvement Association
Knappa Water Association
Brownsmead-Knappa volunteer firefighter
Clatsop Community College Board member

All of my formal education was in Oregon starting with Knappa Schools and proceeding on to OSU where I majored in Animal Science with a minor in business. I took my EMT training at Clatsop Community College.

I've worked on farms around the country and around the world. I learned a great deal, and I'm excited to be able to put my skills to work in my home country, Clatsop County.
